Lusaka, 6th August 2025 : Zambia Industrial Commercial Bank (ZICB) is proud to announce that it has been awarded the Service of the Year Award in the Large Enterprise category at the prestigious SADC Quality Awards, held on 31st July c2025 in Antananarivo, Madagascar.
The award recognises ZICB’s exceptional commitment to international service standards and quality assurance procedures, which have propelled the Bank’s rapid growth and positioned it as one of Zambia’s best financial institutions in just six years of operation.
The ceremony was held during the SADC Industrialization Week from 28th July to 2nd August, a flagship event attended by representatives from all SADC member states and institutions showcasing products and services contributing to regional economic development.
ZICB qualified to participate in the SADC Quality Awards after winning the Best Service of the Year in the Banking Sector at the Zambia Bureau of Standards (ZABS) Annual Quality Awards.
Following a rigorous regional selection process that concluded on 28th January 2025, ZICB stood out among leading enterprises across the SADC region.
ZICB’s Corporate Affairs Manager, Mr. Luke Njovu, received the award on behalf of the Bank at the regional ceremony.
