The Zambia Industrial Commercial Bank (ZICB) has partnered with Red Arrows Football Club (RAFC) for the 2026/27 transitional season as an equipment and Man of the Match sponsor. The Bank has committed K250,000 (approximately US$12,000) towards equipment support to enhance the club’s performance as it competes in the CAF Confederation Cup and pursues the league title. ZICB will also be the main sponsor of the Man of the Match awards for all Red Arrows FC home games. Speaking during the signing ceremony, ZICB’s Chief Corporate Banking Officer said the Bank would continue to support the commercialisation of sport in line with the President’s directive to promote private-sector partnerships in the sports sector. He also wished Red Arrows FC success in the season. “As ZICB, we are happy to continue this partnership with Red Arrows FC and the Zambia Air Force as an institution. This partnership is in line with the President’s directive for the private sector to support the sports sector. “Red Arrows FC and the Zambia Air Force have been good partners of ZICB, and we wish the team success as it pursues the league title and competes in the CAF Confederation Cup.” Meanwhile, Red Arrows FC President thanked ZICB for its support and pledged that the club would utilise the sponsorship to enhance performance. “As RAFC, we are grateful for the support ZICB has shown us. This Man of the Match sponsorship will motivate our players to work harder and contribute to improving our standards of performance. “The equipment support partnership is timely because we are competing in the regional CAF Confederation Cup, and the club needs to keep abreast of the latest technology and trends in sport.”

Zambia Industrial Commercial Bank (ZICB) has been awarded an ‘A’ Credit Rating by Premier Rating Services Limited, affirming the Bank’s stability, and financial strength in the market. The announcement was made during a media briefing hosted by Premier Rating Services Limited at the ZICB Headquarters at KK Mall in Lusaka. Speaking during the briefing, the Premier Rating Services Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Dionyious Makunka, said the rating was more than just a score, but a reflection of the Bank’s performance, market position and risk profile. “I would like to first congratulate the ZICB CEO and his team for achieving the ‘A’ rating. The rating is based on several factors, including the Bank’s compliance with governance requirements, profitability and asset quality, and ability to meet both long term & short term obligations,” he said. He further congratulated ZICB for maintaining a strong and stable rating, noting that the assessment demonstrated the Bank’s satisfactory market performance. “This was a deep analysis which showed ZICB’s strong earning capability, stability, balance sheet expansion and satisfactory market performance. The Bank’s experienced management and leadership also contributes to its strong and stable risk position, signaling it as a trusted financial partner,” he said. Speaking at the event, ZICB Chief Executive Officer Mr. Ngenda Nyambe thanked the public for the confidence they have continued to demonstrate in the Bank, citing the growth in deposits and the Bank’s loan book. “Year on year, our deposits have grown by 49%, while our loan book has also grown significantly. The growth in deposits represents the confidence the public has shown in ZICB, while the growth in our loan book demonstrates our commitment to supporting individuals and businesses with access to finance for personal and business growth,” he said. The CEO said the Bank’s growth is aligned with its contribution to Zambia’s development agenda and its purpose of “Making Tomorrow Possible.”

ZICB staff proudly represented the Bank across several disciplines, achieving impressive results. Our team secured gold in the Men’s 200m Sprint, while the Men’s 400m Relay Team finished second. The Men’s Basketball Team placed third, and our Chess Team finished fourth. The strong performance reflects our staff’s commitment to teamwork, discipline, and excellence, both on and off the field.

Zambia Industrial Commercial Bank (ZICB) has donated refuse bins to Kazungula Town Council and Livingstone City Council in support of Keep Zambia Clean, Green and Healthy Campaign. As part of its commitment to environmental sustainability and supporting local communities, ZICB staff also participated in the monthly cleaning exercise led by the local authorities.Speaking during the handover ceremony, ZICB Livingstone Branch Manager, Mr. Moonga C. Kebby, reaffirmed the Bank’s commitment to working with the local authorities to promote a clean, green and healthy Livingstone, Kazungula and surrounding communities. The Livingstone City Council Town Clerk thanked ZICB for the generous gesture, noting that the donation would contribute to the Council’s efforts to maintain a clean, green and healthy city. We are proud to have successfully defended the Bankers’ Association of Zambia (BAZ) Basketball Championship title after edging out Bank of Zambia 62–59 in a exciting match played on Saturday at the NAPSA Sports Complex in Lusaka. With this victory, Team ZICB has retained the championship title it first won last year at the same venue. The staff presented the trophy to CEO, Ngenda Nyambe, who congratulated the players and urged them to continue demonstrating excellence both in and out of the office in line with the ZICB values. “I am happy that the team has delivered another trophy, defending it for the second year in a row.
