The Zambia Industrial Commercial Bank (ZICB) has partnered with Red Arrows Football Club (RAFC) for the 2026/27 transitional season as an equipment and Man of the Match sponsor.
The Bank has committed K250,000 (approximately US$12,000) towards equipment support to enhance the club’s performance as it competes in the CAF Confederation Cup and pursues the league title.
ZICB will also be the main sponsor of the Man of the Match awards for all Red Arrows FC home games.
Speaking during the signing ceremony, ZICB’s Chief Corporate Banking Officer said the Bank would continue to support the commercialisation of sport in line with the President’s directive to promote private-sector partnerships in the sports sector. He also wished Red Arrows FC success in the season.
“As ZICB, we are happy to continue this partnership with Red Arrows FC and the Zambia Air Force as an institution. This partnership is in line with the President’s directive for the private sector to support the sports sector.
“Red Arrows FC and the Zambia Air Force have been good partners of ZICB, and we wish the team success as it pursues the league title and competes in the CAF Confederation Cup.”
Meanwhile, Red Arrows FC President thanked ZICB for its support and pledged that the club would utilise the sponsorship to enhance performance.
“As RAFC, we are grateful for the support ZICB has shown us. This Man of the Match sponsorship will motivate our players to work harder and contribute to improving our standards of performance.
“The equipment support partnership is timely because we are competing in the regional CAF Confederation Cup, and the club needs to keep abreast of the latest technology and trends in sport.”
