The rating reaffirms ZICB’s financial strength, resilience, and strategic growth, positioning the Bank to access favourably priced credit lines and provide more competitive financial solutions to customers, ultimately benefiting the Zambian economy. With a strong long-term credit rating, ZICB has been recognised as a reliable and well-capitalised financial institution, reflecting its solid financial position and exceptional leadership team. Since becoming profitable within just three years of operations, we have achieved remarkable growth, with profitability rising from ZMW 3.9 million in 2021 to over ZMW 50 million in 2024. This achievement is a testament to the unwavering support of our shareholders, Board of Directors, dedicated staff, and loyal customers, who have been instrumental in ZICB’s success. Today, Zambia Industrial Commercial Bank (ZICB) had the honour of visiting Inkosi Yamakhosi Mphezeni IV at his Laweni palace. Led by our CEO, Mr. Ngenda Nyambe and other senior executives, the ZICB team engaged in a meaningful exchange with His Royal Highness. As a gesture of respect and appreciation, we also presented various gifts to His Royal Highness. Earlier this week, the CEO of Zambia Industrial Commercial Bank Limited (ZICB), Mr. Ngenda Nyambe, paid a courtesy call to the CEO of Zambezi River Authority (ZRA), Eng. Munyaradzi Munodawafa. The meeting focused on exploring areas of collaboration that align with ZICB’s commitment to sustainable financing, infrastructure development, and energy security. As a key player in Zambia’s financial sector, ZICB continues to engage with strategic institutions like ZRA to drive economic growth and environmental sustainability.

Our CEO, Mr. Ngenda Nyambe, accompanied by the ZICB team, paid courtesy calls on key stakeholders in Eastern Province, reinforcing our commitment to working with local institutions to foster sustainable development. The team met with Dr. Lewis Mwape, Deputy Permanent Secretary for the Office of the President’s Provincial Administration, to discuss collaborative efforts in enhancing financial accessibility for individuals and businesses, particularly in rural communities. ZICB also engaged with Mr. Bernard Mwanza, Acting Town Clerk for Chipata City Council, and Mr. Benjamin Kasongo, Director of Finance, to explore financial solutions that can support municipal projects and enhance service delivery. Further, our CEO met with Eng. Aaron Mulinda, Managing Director of Eastern Water and Sanitation Company Ltd, to discuss potential partnerships in delivering sustainable water and sanitation solutions, essential pillars for community well-being. Our visit concluded with a tour at Crownhill School, one of our valued banking partners, where we reaffirmed our dedication to supporting educational institutions that shape the future of our country. As we join the people of Eastern Province in celebrating the 2025 Ncwala Traditional Ceremony, we remain committed to forging meaningful relationships that empower communities and contribute to national development.

ZICB, represented by our Luangwa Branch, proudly participated in the Nc’wala Zambezi Crossing Ceremony yesterday in Luangwa District. As a sponsor of this significant cultural event, we contributed towards facilitating logistics for the Zwangendaba Kraal, reaffirming our commitment to supporting local traditions and communities. ZICB has made a donation to the Zambia National Blood Transfusion Service (ZNBTS), which will help enhance the blood donation process. The Corporate Affairs Manager, Mr. Luke Njovu, and other staff members donated squeezers, designed to ensure a more comfortable experience for blood donors. During the visit, the ZICB team was given an insightful tour of the facility. They learned valuable information about the operations of the ZNBTS and were shown various state-of-the-art machines used in blood donation and processing procedures. The tour of facilities provided vital information on the role these services play in supporting community health and is a testament to our dedication to being a responsible corporate citizen.
